Cool Cattails

Redbush and family headed out back with Bonzi to get a bit of exercise to this frozen beaver dam. She took a few snapshots of some wildlife tracks and cattails growing there. She has tried to collect some cattails in the past to dry them for decorations, but, hasn't been successful. She likes to collect them in the fall before they start to break apart. She hopes everyone had a great Valentines Day, and a great weekend!

It's good to see the wild winter scenes. Thanks.

Thanks, Leah! Bonzi begs us to take him out back everyday so we can throw his stick for him 1000 times! He's becoming spoiled! Ha!

Great shots, Redbush! Love how blue the sky looks against the snow.

Very pretty but it looks cold!

Thanks, Bag Lady! It was getting almost at sunset at that point. Bonzi loved the outing.

It was actually a little cool, Hilary. The sun made it feel just a bit warmer, but, we felt a little cool breeze. Bonzi enjoyed his stick throwing after tugging his favourite from the beaver dam. Thanks for stopping.

Very pretty! Love looking at snow when it's NOT outside my window :-)

Yes, Missicat, you've had your share of the blizzards lately. Hopefully they're done for the year for you! It looked like your snowdrifts were higher than anything we've experienced for a long time. Thanks for stopping!
