Summer Wildflowers

Redbush took some pictures of wildflowers that she saw in her travels this summer.  This summer didn't have  a lot of sunny days, so she took advantage of taking some snapshots when it was.   She likes taking photos of interesting water bodies and cloud formations, too.   Bonzi and Beatle enjoyed the sunshine  as well, as did the grey jay, or whiskey jack as we know them.      She hopes all of you are having a great week, and a happy Halloween!

It's good to see summer again.

Thank you for the glimpse of summer just as the leaves are disappearing here. The flowers are marvelous, but my favorite is the comparison of texture between Beetle's coat and the log.

Leah, we can only hope fall hangs on for a lot longer before the white stuff comes. Thanks for stopping.

Solarity, our leaves have all disappeared with the strong winds we've had lately. The willows are still hanging on, so, we'll be picking up those leaves in the spring. Beetle loves his quad rides and stopping in the woods to sniff under a rotten log. Thanks for commenting.

Lovely pictures, Redbush! I love the cloud formation - very cool. And it's nice to see the flowers again now that things are looking a little drab around here!

Thanks, Bag Lady! I love stopping to take pictures of pretty flowers, and other such wilderness captions, however, Mr. Redbush doesn't always stop when I see an interesting shot, and then it's too late because we've passed it. I agree that things are looking drab, but, the longer winter holds off, the better.

Thanks, Hilary. I always wish summer would last longer in our area, but, it's out of our control. Just the same the other seasons have some beautiful scenes too.

That shot of the cloud formation is excellent. Any little glimpse of summer that we can have is most welcome so thanks for such pretty glimpses!

Thanks for stopping, Cheryl. I can't believe that our weather is still hanging in there, but, the less we see of winter, the better for me!
