Perusing The Ponds
A week or so ago, Redbush, and family went out hunting for wilderness water spots to take photos of. She loves to use spots like this for references for her artworks. They are glad they did. This week, the spots would be totally different with the cool -26 degree days. Winter is here to stay again, I'm afraid. Beatle can't wait to get in from the outside after his walk.

I'm sure the pics will give you many, many pieces of art.
Thanks, Leah! I can get some pretty snowy ones now! Living so close to the mountains makes me envious at this time of year. They're spectacular, I'm sure.
When I saw the dog I remembered mine jumping on to a picnic table, much to the disdain to the people who had the campsite.Lovely shots, I would enjoy seeing your sketches.
You must paint the second one; the shape of the water is just perfect.

Thanks, Out on the prairie. Our dogs are almost always on the picnic table when we camp. In fact we usually put coats up for them to lay on. I'm looking at which of the pics I would like to sketch and paint at this point. Right now I'm working on sketches of two bearded collies. They really are like human portraits in that I must make them represent each of them as exactly as I can.
Thanks, Solarity. I love the pond and slough shots. I appreciate your input.
Lovely shots, all of them but that little sleeping beauty invites a kiss on that adorable, tender belly. What a sweet shot.
All great shots, Redbush, but the one of Beatle is the best!! :)
Thanks, Hilary! He usually does that if I'm busy doing something and he thinks I should massage his belly, but mostly I think it's his favourite way to rest, or he's just being a clown.
Thanks Bag Lady! Usually when I'm just getting off the tredmill, he pulls this pose.
I'm just stopping by different type of blogs and thought id say hello folks. So greetings from an Amish community in Pennsylvania, and wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a healthy and happy new year. Richard from Amish Stories
Thanks, Amish. Merry Christmas to you too!
