Perusing The Ponds
A week or so ago, Redbush, and family went out hunting for wilderness water spots to take photos of. She loves to use spots like this for references for her artworks. They are glad they did. This week, the spots would be totally different with the cool -26 degree days. Winter is here to stay again, I'm afraid. Beatle can't wait to get in from the outside after his walk.

Dig In!
Redbush only cooks this meat once or twice a year. Usually her family enjoys it boiled, but, this time she tried a roasting recipe. Most people turn their noses up at it, but then, Redbush knows frlends of hers who don't like liver, and onions either, but she likes it. She wonders if you can guess what it is and if you have and unusual, or rare foods you enjoy. Redbush wishes you a great week and good eating!

Signs Of The Time?
This summer, and several summers before this, Redbush sees this sign in her travels. A local logging mill would have gotten the signs produced. She's wondering how many of these are out there. She hopes everyone is having a great fall. There is no snow yet in her area, but, the forecast is for some of the white stuff soon. Redbush hopes the radio station is wrong on that one. She hopes everyone is enjoying a great fall!

Em-Te Town
This summer Redbush and family visited this cool little place. She could have stayed there all day, especially in the saloon. She hopes all of you are having a great fall.

Farwell To Bonzi
Redbush hasn't had a very happy spring and summer. Bonzi was getting more and more ill. She knew that it was only a matter of time when he would no longer be with her and her family. He had developed a number of health issues within the last three years, one of them being severe seizures. Medicating him helped but it wasn't a cure. Beatle and Redbush's family miss him badly as there is now an empty spot in their lives. The night before he passed away, Redbush took some pictures of him, including his last quad ride to one of his favourite spots. She and her family had to say their goodbyes to him on August 22. She knows that he is no longer sufferering which is a good thing. Redbush hopes you all had a great spring and summer. She apologizes that this blog wasn't a cheery one.

Winter in June!
It's been a few days now since we were hit with a bout of winter again, but, Redbush is still feeling the cool weather even though the snow has disappeared. She had to spend some time giving her plants some cover. Hopefully this is the last of the white stuff. It's June for crying out loud! Redbush is still busy trying to get her plants to produce some blooms, but, they are feeling like they should have blankets on every night. The weather forecast for it being a cool beginning to the summer hasn't failed. She hopes that it will warm up soon, or, her gardens plants will develop root rot. There's much needed moisture, but, the warmth is much needed, too. How is your garden growing? She hopes that you are having a much greater beginning to the summer! Have a great week!
